About Baitul Uloom

Hazrat Molana Abdullah Sahab Aazmi رحمتہ اللہ علیہ is the founder of Madrasa Baitul Uloom, Malegaon. He was born in the Malegaon area of eastern Uttar Pradesh, in a place called Azamgarh, during the 1857 Revolutionary era. His parents gave special attention to his education and well-being. After completing his education from the local madaris and ulama, he intended to move out of town to seek livelihood and income. Allah guided him at every step, and he reached the land of Malegaon.

At that time, Malegaon was a very small town, and the people were illiterate. Ignorance was common in the area. Because of illiteracy, people couldn't even read letters. They faced difficulties finding someone who could read the letters to them. After seeing the illiteracy in society, Molana decided to do something for education. He decided to establish an Islamic madrasa, and after much struggle and with the help of well-renowned people, he laid the foundation of Baitul Uloom Madrasa in Gurbaid Mosque in the auspicious year of 1886.
